Flight Arrivals at El Paso Airport
When arriving at El Paso Airport you will find yourself in a single two-leveled terminal housing departures as well as arrivals. The arrivals area of the terminal is located on the left when entering the building’s main terminal area with Baggage Claim located on the lower level.
Before proceeding to exit the Baggage Claim area, please remember to collect your entire luggage.
The terminal is also divided into two concourses, A and B, with Concourse A exclusively serving American Airlines and Concourse B serving all other airlines.
The center of the terminal’s lower level is called the main terminal and on the upper level we find the boarding area that also connects the two concourses.
Transfers at El Paso Airport
Rental Cars – The car rental companies at El Paso Airport have their desks located in the Baggage Claim.
Buses – Sun Metro’s Route 33 and Route 55 provide a public bus service between El Paso Airport and downtown El Paso. The two different routes depart from outside the terminal. Signs show the way. Buses depart Monday-Saturday from morning to evening. The journey from the airport to downtown El Paso will take approximately 40 minutes. The two routes will take different routes and stop at different locations along the way. The ticket fare is $1.50 for a standard adult journey with discounts available for certain groups.
A Greyhound bus station is located in downtown El Paso.
Taxis – Taxi cabs can be found in the Ground Transportation area outside the terminal. Official taxis have permits to service the airport and can be from one of five different taxi companies. Taxis are metered and the journey to downtown El Paso will take around 15 minutes and cost around $30. More information about taxis at El Paso Airport.
Hotel Shuttles – Some hotels may offer an airport shuttle service to their guests for convenient transfer from and to the airport. Drivers may meet the guest in various locations of the airport. More information will be disclosed by the hotel upon requesting the transfer. Some hotels offer the service complimentary while charges may be applicable with other hotels. Need to book a hotel? Commercial Shuttles – A variety of companies offer their airport transfer services. These are requested in advance through the company directly. See more about private transfers at El Paso Airport.
Ride Shares – To request a transfer with a ride share company, please request it through the company’s app. Rides can be requested after collecting the luggage, although a few minutes waiting time might be applicable for the vehicle to arrive at the outer curbside in the Ground Transportation area as vehicles are not allowed to wait there, they can only collect customers and only from this location.
Trains – The airport doesn’t have train station and it is not possible to transfer from it via train. There is however a train station located in downtown El Paso with services provided by Amtrak as well as other providers. See information about train services near El Paso Airport.
Long-term Parking Shuttle – Complimentary shuttles are provided for transferring to and from the long-term parking lots. They can be located in the Ground Transportation area.
Smoking at El Paso Airport
Smoking inside the airport is prohibited. Designated smoking areas can be found outside of the terminal building. It is not permitted to smoke within 20 ft. of entrances and exits.

Free WiFi is available in all areas of the terminal.

ATMs/cash machines are available throughout the airport.

A currency exchange booth is located in the main terminal.

A Meeter/Greeter area is located on the Lower Level of the airport’s terminal building.
Flower Kiosk at El Paso Airport
A 24-hour Flower Kiosk is located in the Meeter/Greeter area on the airport’s Lower Level for anyone who wants to present some beautiful fresh flowers to the arriving passenger/s.
Public Art at El Paso Airport
The airport is a place where great art can be found spread out in various areas of the terminal in the shape and form of murals, sculptures, photographs and more.
Food and Beverage at El Paso Airport
On the lower level of the airport we find establishments from Starbucks, Carlos and Mickey and Burger King, available to all visitors. There are several more establishments located on airside.

While there are several shopping establishment found on airside, there is only one on landside, Plaza News.

Nursing Rooms can be found in a few locations at the airport, including in the Arrivals Lounge on the Lower Level.
Pet Relief Areas at El Paso Airport
The airport has a couple of pet relief areas located in or around the terminal. One is located in Concourse B, and there is also one located outside the terminal, in the short-term parking lot opposite the Departures area.
Smartecarts at El Paso Airport
Smartecart stations are located in various locations of the terminal, including in the Baggage Claim area. Charges may be applicable.

Special needs restrooms can be found in the atrium on the lower level main terminal, and in Concourse B.
